We had some general bumbling around fun at the end of february and beginning of March

Always a good trip when we go to the Living Desert

We went with Mickey's dad on this trip.

ON our general walks around the neighborhood, we see roadrunners and the ponds where the old golf course was.

A View we never tire of

Tennis at Indian Wells

Great view to see American Ben Shelton

A Trip to Colorado with Joe and Aldona

We visited Joe and Aldona in February. We met them in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Ed and Joe went skiing, while Scott and Aldona planned to go into town.

Scott and Aldona never did actually go into town. Aldona spent her days locked in the clutches of her iPhone and the horrible things she was worried about with the new administration. But it was fun.

A Visit with Julie and Rich

Eddie and I popped over from Maui to Oahu one day to see my cousins Rick and Julie Verseemch. It was the first time I had seen them in decades, and the first time ever in Hawaii.

The Black Sand Beach in Maui

We went to one of the Black Sand Beaches in Maui, and it was so cool. I loved the play of the dark volcanic sands against the vibrant green vegetation and deep blue waters. Magic.

In Mid-January we headed to Maui with John and Sue

In 2025, we began the year with a trip with John and Sue. They continued their yearly pilgrimage to somewhere warmer than Minnesota in the winter. This year, it was Maui.

Lunch at an old sugar mill was kind of typical of the beauty of the place.

We journeyed to the King Kamaimai Golf Course. It was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in the 1960s, but was not completed until the 2000s. The place was stunning. I loved the mural of the old warriors.
